Paper Birch Betula papyrifera. Deciduous.
Native to Canada.
Short-lived tree species require sufficient water and full sun. White Birch grows well in various soil conditions such as acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained, and clay soils. While it prefers normal moisture, the tree has some drought tolerance.
Grows to approximately 25 meters (98 feet) tall. The height is reduced when grown in threes.
Each seed bomb contains 6-10 seeds meaning the germination rate is high. If planting on private property thinning out seedlings in order to successfully grow numerous trees from one seed bomb.
Buds, leaves, and seeds from the white birch are a rich source of food for birds and animals.
The drawstring bag contains four seed bombs.
