Three sisters (corn beans and squash)

Corn is planted first. Once the corn plant reaches 6 inches high the second sister is planted
Bean is planted and uses corn as its pole keeping it rising towards the sun. The bean plant also takes nitrogen from the air into the soil; in which the corn is depended upon.
After the bean plants starts to sprout, after about a week, the squash is planted. The squash provides ground cover for both plants to keep pests away and retain moisture.
A plot 4x4 feet is required for this companion planting technique
